As four university students, we now dedicate our time to mentoring our amazing tutors who in turn will ignite the spark in your children. But why?

We noticed a problem with the way many tutoring companies operate. Tutors often join expecting fair pay and steady sessions, but instead they find themselves with very few hours and little connection to the company. They’re undervalued and unable to build meaningful relationships with students. At the same time, the school system’s one-size-fits-all approach leaves many young people believing they can’t achieve, when in reality they may just need a different way of learning.

With-It Tutors was our answer to both of these problems. We created a strict screening and interview process, followed by one-to-one training from our head tutor that focuses on evidence-based teaching techniques. Less tutors, but higher quality. This support allows our tutors to work more hours, feel valued, and bring their best to every session. For students, that means engaging lessons tailored to how they learn, helping them build confidence and see that they really can succeed.
